Castro Endorsed by International Machinists

Today, Local Lodge 2210 of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers (IAM), endorsed the candidate of Julian Castro for Mayor of San Antonio.
"It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we endorse Julian Castro for mayor. He is the only candidate that has listened to and cares about the working people of San Antonio," says Larry Morgan, machinist president.
The Machinist endorsement comes on the same day as the Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO of which the Machinist are a member. The Machinist Union represents about 700 members. They represent Southwest Airlines customer service reservations agents, United Airlines customer service agents and US Air customer service agents.
"We have spoken with all three candidates and Julian Castro had a better understanding of the needs and concerns of San Antonio's working people," states Larry Morgan.
