Video Blog: Great Parks for San Antonio

Comments 2 Comments
As a former Chairman of the San Antonio Parks Board I worked closely with Julian as the District 7 Councilman in what a very aggressive parks expansion and upgrade. Julian was an avid supporter along then way, and through his support critical funding was found for many of priorities. I am glad to see he still maintains that dedication to our parks and recreation goals, he has my support.

Julian. The connection to having our parks is for the air quality. Air quality. Every tree, shrub, wildflower that is protected in our parks is sequestering CO2.. That's why parks are good recruiters. Houston's pollution was curbed by "adding" 1 million trees. We have the billion trees, but they keep getting scraped off our hills, valleys and fields. see my website at: http://community.webshots.com/user/lizrobbins and you'll see what "irresponsible" development is doing to our natural resources and affecting the quality of the air we breathe, not to speak of the dangers it brings to our aquifer!
